Founded in 1979 by Rhonda Paver, the school has grown to become a national model of early childhood care and education excellence. With a focus on the whole child as an individual, Stepping Stone School offers a proprietary Early Care and Education curriculum, known as Platinum Learning for Life, which emphasizes academic and personal growth. The school's S.T.R.E.A.M. program provides a holistic learning environment that nurtures, inspires, and engages children. Stepping Stone School has been recognized as the Best Childcare in Austin for 27 years, as voted by the readers of Austin Family Magazine. The school is committed to supporting non-profit organizations benefiting children and families, and has donated over $100,000 to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Texas and Scottie's House in College Station.
