The practice specializes in psychoeducational evaluations for children and adolescents, with particular expertise in ADHD, autism, learning disabilities, and complex or high-masking presentations that don’t fit neatly into one category. They believe that families deserve evaluations that actually explain something, not just scores or jargon. Their work is grounded in a simple belief: families deserve clear answers, practical recommendations, and a process that feels organized and respectful from start to finish. The practice was founded by Stephanie Hewitt, a Licensed Educational Psychologist with over 15 years of experience in school psychology and more than 1,000 psychoeducational evaluations completed. She understands what it feels like to sit in IEP meetings, try to make sense of data, and advocate for a kid you know better than any report ever could. Learning Pathways was built to do evaluations differently, with a focus on thoroughness when needed and targeting when that’s what serves the student. Their approach is neurodiversity-affirming and strengths-based, looking at how a student thinks, what conditions help them learn best, and what they can do to support their growth and development.
