The State of New Jersey Department of Health’s Early Intervention System (EIS) is committed to providing comprehensive, family-oriented services to infants and toddlers up to three years of age. Our EIPs arrange for specialized, early intervention practitioners to address the developmental needs of eligible children and their families. With a focus on providing early intervention services to address any problem or delay in development, we strive to give children the best possible start in life.
