Stacy Lang, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a PhD in Social Work, specializes in working with individuals coping with grief, trauma, depression, and anxiety, as well as relationship difficulties. Stacy believes that therapy is a process empowered by the relationship between therapist and client, working together in a supportive environment. Her goal for her clients is that they gain insight and tools to enable them to make choices and changes to improve their lives. Stacy's approach is client-centered and strengths-based, incorporating Cognitive and Behavioral approaches to psychotherapy, as well as Mindfulness and Wellness approaches. She provides Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Progressive Counting, and Flash techniques for the treatment of trauma. Stacy sees clients via telehealth, in her office in Wilmington, as well as in-home or beach appointments. She also provides supervision to registered social work interns working towards licensure, and offers bereavement groups and Women's Wellness groups as part of her practice.
