Springfield Challenger Baseball is a division of West Springfield Little League dedicated to providing a volunteer-based, inclusive baseball program for players with special needs ages 4-40. We have three divisions: Little Challenger (ages 4-12), Majors (for teenagers), and our adult division (ages 19-40). Our program is managed in cooperation with Central Springfield Little League and South County Little League, and is designed to build self-esteem, confidence, acceptance, and provide an opportunity for players to establish long-lasting relationships. Our program also provides a fun, positive atmosphere with role models for age-appropriate behavior. We strive to give our players a sense of belonging and provide them with opportunities to socialize, learn proper cooperative behaviors, and work together as a team.
