At Special Olympics Washington – Skagit County, we believe everyone should have the opportunity to participate in sports. That’s why we provide ten weeks of sports training and athletic competition each season for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Our mission is to ensure they have a quality experience with a focus on friendship and fun. We strive to create an atmosphere of inclusion and acceptance, while facilitating the development of skills and an appreciation for health and fitness. Our dedicated coaches and volunteers work tirelessly to create a supportive and positive environment that allows every athlete to reach their fullest potential. With our commitment to providing quality sports experiences to individuals with intellectual disabilities, we hope to make a lasting impact on our community.
