At Special Olympics Texas – Waco, we strive to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Our mission is to give them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy, and share their gifts, skills, and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes, and the community. We provide a safe and inclusive environment for all athletes to reach their full potential. We are dedicated to helping individuals with intellectual disabilities become accepted and valued members of their communities.
