Special Olympics South Carolina – Area 6 is dedicated to providing year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Through our programs, we strive to give these individuals the opportunity to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and create meaningful relationships with their families, fellow athletes and the community. Our goal is to provide them with an environment in which they can share their gifts, skills and friendship.
