Special Olympics Oregon – Linn County is dedicated to providing year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for individuals with intellectual disabilities. We strive to give our athletes the opportunity to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, and experience joy while participating in a sharing of gifts, skills, and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes, and the community. Our goal is to enable all individuals with intellectual disabilities to take part in the joys and benefits of sport and competition. With our support, these athletes can reach their full potential in life and become positive, contributing members of society.
