Special Olympics Oklahoma is an international non-profit organization dedicated to providing year-round sports training and athletic competition for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Founded by Eunice Kennedy Shriver in 1968, Special Olympics Oklahoma has grown to serve 12,100 athletes, supported by over 13,000 volunteer coaches, thousands of sponsors, donors and volunteers. Our mission is to empower and inspire individuals with intellectual disabilities to achieve their full potential through sports, courage, joy, and friendship.
