Special Olympics Montana is an athlete-centered, family-based, volunteer-driven, and sponsor-supported movement with over 5,060 athletes registered in 171 programs from 132 Montana communities. They are headquartered in Great Falls, Montana and are accredited by Special Olympics, Inc. Their vision is an inclusive world for all, driven by the power of sport, through which people with intellectual disabilities live active, healthy, and fulfilling lives. They offer a variety of programs and events throughout the state, including the State Summer Games, which will be held in Billings in May 2026. Special Olympics Montana also has a strong focus on Unified Sports, which joins people with and without intellectual disabilities to play together and promote acceptance and inclusion.
