Special Olympics Missouri (SOMO) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing year-round sports training and competition in Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Our aim is to foster physical fitness, courage, joy, and friendship while giving them the opportunity to share their gifts, skills, and sense of community with their families, peers, and the broader public. We are headquartered in St. Joseph, Missouri, and are committed to enriching the lives of those with intellectual disabilities through our sports programs.
