Special Olympics Michigan- Area 4 is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing year-round sports training and athletic competition for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Our athletes develop physical fitness, courage, and joy while participating in activities that build relationships between their families, Special Olympics athletes, and the local community. With the support of generous volunteers, coaches, family members, and staff, our athletes are able to achieve their dreams. We rely on donations from Michigan citizens and businesses to fund our programs, and we are grateful for the support.
