Special Olympics Michigan- Area 33 is a non-profit organization that provides year-round sports training and athletic competition for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Our mission is to inspire courage, bring joy, and foster inclusion and acceptance among our athletes, their families, and the community. Our athletes benefit from physical fitness, skill development, and social and emotional growth, all made possible with the support of volunteers, coaches, family members, and staff. We are grateful for the generous donations of Michigan citizens and businesses, which help fund our program and make our athletes’ dreams a reality.
