Special Olympics Michigan- Area 31 is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing year-round sports training and athletic competition for individuals with intellectual disabilities. Our athletes gain physical fitness, courage, and joy while participating in activities that foster the sharing of skills, gifts, and friendship among their families, other athletes, and the community. Supported by caring volunteers, coaches, family members, and staff, our athletes are able to reach their goals and dreams. We are funded by generous donations from businesses and individuals throughout the state of Michigan.
