Special Olympics Michigan- Area 29 provides year-round sports training and athletic competition for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Our athletes develop physical fitness, gain courage, and experience joy while participating in the sharing of gifts, skills, and friendship among their families, our Special Olympics athletes, and the community. With the support of our caring volunteers, coaches, family members, and staff, our athletes are able to achieve their dreams. Generous donations from Michigan citizens and businesses provide the necessary funding to keep our program running. Join us in making a positive impact on the lives of our Special Olympics athletes!
