Special Olympics Michigan- Area 27 provides year-round sports training and athletic competition for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Our athletes develop physical fitness, courage, and joy through the sharing of gifts, skills, and friendship. Our athletes achieve their dreams with the support of dedicated volunteers, coaches, family members, and staff. Generous donations from Michigan citizens and businesses allow us to fund the program. We are committed to creating a safe and inclusive environment where everyone is welcome and can feel respected.
