Special Olympics Michigan- Area 16 is a year-round sports organization dedicated to providing athletic training and competition for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Our athletes develop physical fitness, courage, and joy while building meaningful relationships with their families, coaches, peers, and the community. With the support of our caring volunteers, coaches, and staff, our athletes can achieve their dreams. Michigan citizens and businesses provide funding for our program through donations and other forms of support. We are committed to providing an inclusive and welcoming environment where everyone can experience growth and success.
