Special Olympics Michigan- Area 12 is a non-profit organization that provides year-round sports training and athletic competition for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Our mission is to provide athletes with the opportunity to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, and experience joy while gaining skills and making friendships with fellow athletes, families, volunteers, coaches, and staff. We rely on donations from Michigan citizens and businesses to help fund our program, and we strive to make sure every athlete has the opportunity to reach their goals and dreams.
