At Special Olympics Kentucky – Henderson/2, our mission is to empower individuals with intellectual disabilities to achieve their full potential through the power of sports. We provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports, giving our athletes the opportunity to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy, and build meaningful relationships with their families, fellow athletes, and the community. Our goal is to make a lasting impact on the lives of our athletes, encouraging them to reach their highest potential and giving them access to the same opportunities as anyone else.
