Special Olympics Illinois (SOILL) is a statewide organization that serves athletes in all 102 counties. Through 11 distinct geographic Regions, SOILL provides local-level programming for athletes to compete at Regional Qualifiers and State Championships. Region A, comprising of Boone, Bureau, Carroll, DeKalb, Jo Daviess, LaSalle, Lee, Ogle, Putnam, Stephenson, Whiteside, and Winnebago counties, is managed by a Region Director who is supported by a team of individuals responsible for sports programming, fundraising campaigns, outreach, communication, and educational initiatives.
