The Southwest Center is a private non-profit organization founded in 1982 in southwest Jefferson County, in response to the need for programs and employment opportunities for adults with disabilities. We provide a wide variety of community-based services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Our services are designed to help individuals live, work, and enjoy life in their community. We strive to stay up-to-date with best practices and create innovative programs and service delivery methods to better support our community members.
