They provide information, guidance, and training on the ADA and disability rights. The center is a project of the Burton Blatt Institute (BBI) of Syracuse University and one of ten regional centers in the ADA National Network. Since 1991, they have been grant funded by the National Institute on Disability, Independent Living and Rehabilitation Research (NIDILRR) within the Administration for Community Living (ACL). Their team of experienced and highly trained specialists are available to answer ADA questions, including what is required, who is covered, resources, and training. They serve the U.S. Southeast region, which includes eight states.
