South Sound Pediatric Occupational Therapy is a home and clinic-based, playful, family-centered occupational therapy practice serving young children with autism and other developmental delays in Puyallup and Tacoma, WA. The practice is led by Dawn Heino, OTR/L, who has over 36 years of experience in providing occupational therapy services to children and families. Dawn and her team provide in-home and telehealth occupational therapy services for children from birth to 6 years of age, focusing on maximizing the potential of young children with developmental disabilities, especially those with autism. They offer The PLAY Project’s Autism Intervention Program and work with children on the autism spectrum, as well as those with feeding challenges. The practice is available in Tacoma, University Place, Lakewood, and JBLM, with hours of service from Mondays to Fridays, 9 am to 6 pm.
