South Central L.A. Regional Center

South Central Los Angeles Regional Center (SCLARC) provides education, assessment, training, and services in the communities of South Los Angeles, Watts, Leimert Park, Florence/Firestone, West Adams, and the cities of Bell, Bell Gardens, Compton, Cudahy, Downey, Huntington Park, Lynwood, Maywood, Paramount, and Vernon. SCLARC is committed to providing culturally sensitive services that enhance the inherent strengths of the family and enable the individuals they serve to lead independent and productive lives. They offer services for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Cerebral Palsy, Epilepsy, Intellectual Disability, and Deaf/Hard of Hearing. SCLARC's services include diagnostic evaluations, early intervention, mental health assessment and support, and person-centered thinking. They also provide self-determination programs, mental health grant projects, and children's collaborative mental health projects. SCLARC's mission is to provide special attention to special needs, and they strive to make every effort to participate in all outreach events and presentations.
