The practice helps children between the ages of 3 and 17 years learn the necessary skills to feel confident and knowledgeable in social situations. Historically, social skills instruction was deemed only necessary if a child had a disability. However, Social Skills Training Academy believes that all children can benefit from a strong skill set in the area of social skills. Their curriculum and lessons are designed to help children learn the necessary skills in a productive, fun, and interactive way. They consider individualized needs while providing their students with the foundational skills to handle social situations confidently. The practice offers various services, including early preschool, preschool, elementary, later elementary, middle school and high school social skills classes, as well as individualized social skills coaching for individuals from ages 7 through adulthood.

Early Preschool
This curriculum is designed to teach and enhance age-appropriate play skills, communication skills, interpersonal relationships skills through interactive lessons and fun hands-on activities to develop greater awareness of the social world.
Preschool
The preschool curriculum aims to teach and increase age-appropriate play skills, social interactions, and communication skills. This research-based program incorporates engaging and fun activities that promote necessary social skills to develop strong social relationships.
Elementary
This curriculum is designed to foster age-appropriate play skills, social skills and develop skills for independence in social situations. This age group is introduced to topics that increase social interactions and social communication skills while utilizing evidence-based practices.
Later Elementary
This comprehensive curriculum aims to further enhance and strengthen the social skills from the early elementary program and introduce topics that foster successful independence in social situations. This model focuses on social interactions, interpersonal relationships, and communication skills.
Middle School and High School
The teen social skills curriculum aims to facilitate building social relationships, enhancing interpersonal skills and communication skills. Individuals are introduced to topics that involve age-appropriate interests and the execution of skills needed to maintain friendships.
Social Skills Coach
Social Skills Training Academy offers individualized social skills support in the form of social skills coaching. These sessions are 1:1, and the session’s focus is on individual goals and needs.
