Social Skills Today provides respite opportunities for families of individuals with developmental disabilities such as Autism Spectrum Disorders and other social, communication, sensory, and behavioral needs. They offer various programs, including summer camps, school year mini-break camps, social skills groups, and overnight camps, in a safe and enriching environment for individuals functioning at all developmental levels ages 4 and above. The practice manages several programs and events in the Gwinnett area, including Spectrum Camps and Clubs. Their goal is to provide social skills training, behavioral accommodations, and language-building activities. Adrian Wilkins, the Director, has a passion for working with individuals with developmental disabilities and has extensive experience in teaching small group classrooms, including children with autism. Mary O’Connell, the Assistant Director, has also worked in the Gwinnett County Public Schools and has experience working with children affected by all levels of developmental disorders. Social Skills Today is a partner with Spectrum Camps and Clubs, which provides camps for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders.
