Social & Cognitive Learning Center

Led by Noriko Abenojar, MSW PPS, the practice provides an individualized approach to address social and emotional needs for children, adults, and families. They focus on making interventions and learning processes hands-on and practical, directly impacting the lives of those involved. The practice collaborates with family members, school personnel, and other professionals to understand one's functioning in their environment. Their services include comprehensive social skills coaching programs, individual and group coaching, support for young adults transitioning from high school to college or other school/programs, educational seminars, parent coaching/support, and social skills coaching at pre-schools. They work with individuals who experience challenges related to social cues, group activities, flexibility, emotional recognition, self-assertion, friendships, employment, transitions, social nuances, communication skills, and overall developmental delays due to emotional and/or physical trauma.
