Soaring Eagle Academy

Located in Lombard, IL, the practice serves students aged 5-22 years old within a nurturing social and academic environment that embraces the 'whole child' supporting their individual differences and learning styles. They integrate Developmental Language Models and DIR/Floortime principles to support language comprehension and communication during a stress response. The staff at Soaring Eagle Academy support the child's language system while maintaining self-awareness for keeping their own calm internal and external state. They believe in working together with the community to change the mindset that student behaviors are not for control, attention, or escaping tasks, but rather as communication in a time of stress.
