About
Founded in 2012, their mission is to help riders of all ages and abilities find strength and independence through their partnership with the horse. They offer therapeutic riding lessons, which can lead to increased confidence, patience, self-esteem, concentration, and problem-solving abilities for individuals with mental, emotional, or physical disabilities. Their services cater to children and adults with various abilities, including those with autism spectrum disorder, multiple sclerosis, cerebral palsy, attention deficit disorder, impulse control, and many others. The center is led by Nancy Tejo, a PATH Intl. Certified Instructor, and Christa Schorn, LCSW, Director of Clinical Services. They work in a safe environment with trained volunteers supporting riders and horses during lessons as needed.
