At SIRE, our mission is to transform lives through therapeutic horsemanship activities, therapies, and educational outreach. We specialize in providing equine-assisted activities and therapies to adults and children with a wide variety of special needs, including, but not limited to cerebral palsy, autism, Down syndrome, multiple sclerosis, developmental delay, attention deficit/ hyperactivity disorder, traumatic brain injury, and spinal cord injury. Our riders experience the many physical, cognitive, and emotional benefits of therapeutic horsemanship, including increased strength, improved balance, enriched social interactions, increased flexibility, improved coordination, and enhanced self-esteem.
