Silicon Valley Independent Living Center (SVILC) is a nonprofit, non-residential organization that provides free services to all persons with disabilities of all ages who seek services to help further their independence in Santa Clara County. SVILC is a scent-free environment. The organization is committed to the principles of self-advocacy, personal empowerment, and independent living. They provide support tools and resources needed to live interdependently and advocate for policies that ensure equal access and opportunity for all. SVILC is a peer-agency run by and for people with disabilities, one of 28 independent living centers across the State of California, and over 400 nationwide.
