Sheppard and Enoch Pratt Hospital’s Inpatient Adolescent Neuropsychiatry Unit offers specialized psychiatric care for children and adolescents ages 5-18 with developmental disabilities or neurological impairments. Led by child psychiatrist Dr. Desmond Kaplan and a highly-trained, multidisciplinary staff, our unit provides a range of services including intensive staff-to-patient ratios, individualized behavioral plans, intermediate duration lengths of stay, and caregiver training. Our goal is to provide the best possible care while helping our patients and their families reach their highest potential.
