About
I am committed to creating a therapeutic relationship with each client that is built on safety, trust, and mutual respect. As a trauma-informed clinician, I believe it is important to understand how events have shaped us without letting them define us. I am passionate about collaborating with clients to understand their minds and bodies, grow their problem solving skills, and develop healthy emotion regulation. I take a practical approach and add humor when possible. I enjoy working with kids, teens, and adults to strengthen coping skills, build routines, enhance task execution, regulate emotions, and restructure negative thoughts. I also support couples and families to enhance communication, build conflict resolution skills, and connect with one another. I am happy to offer Christian faith-based counseling upon request. I recognize you as the expert of your own life and experience, and I am committed to understand you as a complex human being with unique qualities and strengths. We can work together to create and achieve goals for improved well-being, relationships, and mental health. It is an honor to help others make positive change in their lives!
