About
The practice focuses on supporting families by focusing on the parent-child relationship. They recognize and honor the parents' role in a child's life and collaborate with them to meet the emotional, physical, and psychological needs of each child. They use a positive focus and strength-based approach with each client, which deepens relationships, increases acceptance, and validates experiences. The practice serves children, parents, individuals, and adolescents, with a special interest in working with strong-willed kids and their families. Scott Pilcher, the owner, has spent 30 years working with parents and their kids, including teenagers, and has received extensive training on what kids need to thrive. He has a deep understanding of child brains and knows how to listen to kids so they open up and talk about their issues. Therapeutic Arena's mission is to support families in a stress-filled and indulgent world, helping them raise fun-loving, responsible children.
