Sarahlin Smith, LMSW, LCSW, RPT, specializes in play therapy with children and teens. With a Master's of Social Work from the University of Central Florida and a Bachelor's of Arts in Psychology from Spring Arbor University, Sarahlin has been working in a clinical setting since 2011. She is a member of the National Association of Social Workers and the Association for Play Therapy, and has completed Basic Training in EMDR. Sarahlin's experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in various settings has given her a unique perspective on human development and growth. She seeks to work with her clients in a way that brings together their past experience, current life, and hopes for the future. Therapy for Children
Play therapy techniques and parent coaching/family therapy are used to help children (ages 2-11) effectively process their world and find new and healthier ways to interact with their world.
Therapy for Adolescents
Trust-based therapy is used to help adolescents (12+) explore their relational patterns, understand identity, improve self-esteem, and find a greater sense of self in this challenging life stage.
Therapy for Adults
A welcoming office and genuine curiosity about the client's life are provided to help adults identify what got them to this point and achieve their goals in their own time.
Consultation
Sarahlin provides consultation services to businesses and individuals, including wellness/fitness centers and clinicians beginning a private practice.
