About
Honolulu Psychology Collective's Sarah Slater Snyder is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who helps clients heal patterns of stress, trauma, anxiety, emotional overwhelm, and overfunctioning through a grounded, integrative approach. By blending strong clinical foundations with deeper, more holistic approaches, she helps clients move beyond insight alone - so emotional healing and expansion are not just cognitively understood, but they are felt, lived, and embodied. Her work is shaped by decades of professional training, as well as by her own personal healing journey. As both a mother and a daughter, she brings a lived awareness of how generational trauma patterns are carried, repeated, and healed across relationships and seasons of life. As a former high school counselor, administrator, and educator, she also brings decades of experience supporting adolescents, families, and educational communities. Sarah's approach is warm, grounded, and integrative, helping clients feel more regulated, supported, and connected to themselves. She uses somatic therapeutic tools, including Brainspotting, to support the healing process. Her services include individual therapy, therapy intensives, The Mālama Method, groups & workshops, and educational & SEL consulting. She helps clients create lasting change by understanding and healing their patterns, and by teaching therapeutic, psychoeducational, and practical emotional wellness skills to help address the real needs behind behavior, stress, and relational challenges. Honolulu Psychology Collective is located in Honolulu, HI, and accepts various insurance plans, including Aetna, BlueCross and BlueShield, Hawaii Medical Assurance Association, Hawaii Medical Services Association, Optum, TRICARE, UnitedHealthcare UHC | UBH, and University Health Alliance.
