Her work focuses on self-esteem, confidence, self-forgiveness, and generating hope towards the future. She also works with athletes who are struggling with perfectionism, anxiety, overwhelm, injury recovery, and burnout. Sarah's approach is person-centered, strength-based, and non-judgmental. She is passionate about supporting the LGBTQIA+ community, specifically providing gender-affirming care. Using empirically supported therapy approaches, Sarah utilizes Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical and Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), solution-focused therapy, and narrative therapy. She offers in-office appointments in Wilmington, and telehealth appointments throughout the state of North Carolina.
