The practice is led by Sarah Grenzeback, a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) and Art Therapist - Registered (ATR). They provide an eclectic approach to therapy, blending art therapy, present-moment and somatic awareness, relational approaches, neuroscience, and trauma-informed care. This approach is adapted to each client's needs and is co-created with them. The practice has experience working with grief, sexual abuse, and various types of trauma. They believe healing grows from deepening relationships to self, loved ones, community, and the land. Creative Roots Counseling is based out of Abiquiu and Santa Fe, NM, and serves individuals of various ages and backgrounds.
