She specializes in working with individuals aged 14 and up, with a focus on older teens and young adults. As an LGBTQ+-affirmative counselor, Sarah has extensive experience helping clients navigate anxiety, depression, mood disorders, LGBTQ+ identity development, academic stress, life transitions, and daily stressors. Her person-centered therapeutic approach emphasizes empathy and understanding, empowering clients to feel heard and supported. To meet each client's unique needs, Sarah integrates techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and mindfulness practices. Her goal is to help clients uncover their strengths, achieve their goals, and build resilience in a safe and nonjudgmental environment. When she’s not working with clients, Sarah enjoys gardening, especially cultivating various tomato and pepper plants. She also loves baking sweet treats and experimenting with new recipes in her kitchen. Sarah is committed to fostering a collaborative therapeutic relationship to help clients overcome challenges and promote mental well-being.
