Ball, a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker. Sarah specializes in working with individuals, couples, children, and their families, focusing on trauma and PTSD, anxiety, and women's issues. She takes a strength-based and client-centered approach to help clients and families heal in a way that meets each person's unique needs. With experience in working with children with attachment disruptions or complex developmental trauma, couples, and trauma-related issues, Sarah offers a range of services, including individual, child, and family counseling, couples counseling, and consulting. She is trained in utilizing Theraplay Level 1 techniques, the Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) model, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Sarah is also certified to provide the Prepare/Enrich assessment for premarital and marriage therapy clients. She is proud to be serving her community in Birmingham, Alabama, and is committed to meeting her clients where they are and walking with them in the healing process.
