Many of her clients seek out therapy because they are struggling with ongoing anxiety and self-criticism and are in high-pressure careers or educational settings. She believes in the power of psychotherapy to create lasting change and deeper satisfaction in life. Sarah is committed to working with clients using the latest advances in clinical psychology to reduce their anxiety and calm their inner critic. Her office is conveniently located in Northwest DC at 3301 New Mexico Avenue NW in American University Park, in close proximity to Spring Valley, Tenleytown, Chevy Chase, and Cleveland Park. Telehealth is also available.
Insurance & payment
Sarah Dougans is out-of-network and does not participate in any insurance plans. However, many of her patients are able to submit receipts from psychotherapy sessions to their insurance provider for reimbursement for out-of-network benefits.
