With a personal understanding of the challenges faced by families with children in need of special education services, Sandra provides guidance and instruction to families navigating the special education process. Her mission is to support families in achieving an appropriate, measurable outcome for their future success. Sandra's expertise includes Autism Spectrum Disorders and Person-Centered Approach to Service Delivery from the Agency for Persons with Disabilities (APD), as well as expert training in Special Education law. She is also a certified Instructor in the Program for the Education and Enrichment of Relational Skills (PEERS) and the SCERTS Model. Sandra's unique perspective on training law enforcement and first responders on 'Best Approach' while interacting with individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders has led to partnerships with the Lee County Sheriff's Office and other organizations. With a strong commitment to her clients, Sandra provides a supportive and knowledgeable approach to helping families navigate the special education process.
