Dr. Samantha Tavares, Psy.D., is a Hawaii-licensed clinical psychologist with 25+ years of experience providing psychological assessments and treatments for children, teens, adults, and families. As Clinical Supervisor for Alaka’i Na Keiki, she trains, supervises, and monitors services provided by the agency’s outpatient clinicians and intensive in-home therapists. She also sees Alaka’i Na Keiki youth and families for evaluations and outpatient therapy in the Honolulu office. Dr. Tavares’ experience includes working as a staff psychologist for Kaiser Permanente, Diamond Head Family Guidance Center (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Division, Department of Health), and other contract psychologists on Oahu and Kauai.
