About
Healing Mountain Mental Health is a practice that not only aids individuals through evidence-based therapy practices, but strives to bring awareness and social change to the mental health community. It is a safe space for BIPOC, LGBTQIA2S+, disabled and neurodivergent individuals, immigrants and refugees, and all people who feel systemic oppression in their daily lives. The practice offers therapeutic services, including group therapy and peer mentoring, and aims to provide comprehensive care to the community through a network of wraparound care, including peer support, case management, and addiction counseling. Sam Martin, a Provisional Licensed Clinical Counselor (PCLC), specializes in working with individuals who have experienced trauma and mental health challenges, particularly those from mixed-race Latinx and Indigenous backgrounds. Sam's work is informed by both clinical expertise and lived experience, supporting clients in navigating identity, systemic oppression, and personal healing.
