Salem County Special Services School (SCSSS) is a countywide school dedicated to providing exceptional educational and therapeutic services for students from Salem and Cumberland County as well as surrounding resident school districts. Our programs are designed to meet the individual needs of our students, with classes and group sizes that adhere to Special Education requirements outlined by the New Jersey Department of Education. Our curriculum is based on the NJ Core Curriculum Content Standards, and we create Individual Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s current level of functioning. In addition to our educational services, we offer occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech therapy, and counseling services to help our students reach their goals.
