Safe Haven Christian Counseling Center, LLC is a place that provides a safe space for people from all walks of life to experience an unconditional and supportive presence along life’s journey. The Center’s Objectives revolve around being Renewed, Restored, Redeemed, and Reconciled. Providing professional, compassionate, and ethical care from a qualified licensed counselor since 2014. Amy Duren, the licensed counselor, is clinically trained and able to provide diagnostic evaluations, treatment goals, and planning for ages 3-adult. She draws from various therapeutic and evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Experiential Therapy, and Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) therapy. Her counseling style is intended to be integrative and collaborative as she develops an individualistic treatment plan. Amy has a Master of Arts in Counseling and is currently working on her PhD in Developmental Psychology from Liberty University. She has experience working with families and child/adolescents at Eau Claire Cooperative Health Centers in Columbia, SC, and has completed internships at Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte, NC, and William S. Hall, a child and adolescent psychiatric hospital. Safe Haven Christian Counseling Center, LLC believes that some of the effects of living in a broken world or our own negative choices can lead to physical, emotional, spiritual, and psychological strain or distress. At SHCCC, they believe the agent for healing begins with you, and your courage to reach out for support sets in motion your redemption story.
Insurance & payment
Amy Duren offers receipts for insurance reimbursement as she does not bill insurance directly from her office. She also accepts medical debit cards and FSA cards.
