The organization was founded by a group of families affected by autism who came together to provide support and resources to one another and the community. Over the years, S.A.F.E. has grown exponentially and now offers a wide range of services and activities, including adult day programs, after-school and community activities, and social skills training. Their mission is to support and empower families affected by autism spectrum disorders by identifying services and activities specific to their needs and providing a sense of inclusion and opportunity within the local community and the ASD community. S.A.F.E. believes that people living with autism can live full and purposeful lives, and they work tirelessly to improve the autism experience for their members and their families.
