Reaching Maximum Independence Inc. (RMI) is a San Antonio-based organization dedicated to helping individuals with disabilities reach their full potential. Founded in 2001, RMI provides a variety of services to 202 families and individuals, including housing, life enrichment programs, and pre-vocational training. Our housing program is designed to ensure that individuals with disabilities live in a safe and comfortable environment, with options ranging from living with their families to shared HCS homes and traditional ICF group homes. Our Life Enrichment Program (LEP) is designed to teach life skills to individuals who are not yet ready for pre-vocational training, while our pre-vocational training program helps equip individuals to join the workforce and become more independent. At RMI, our goal is to provide a supportive environment that encourages people with disabilities to reach their maximum independence.
