Dr. Port's expertise also extends to academic underachievement, perfectionism, family of origin issues, LGBT concerns, and women's issues. With a background in various therapeutic settings, she brings a wealth of experience to her practice, having worked as a staff therapist at The Family Institute at Northwestern University and NewHope Academy therapeutic day school. Dr. Port holds a Psychology Doctorate from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology in Chicago and has completed internships at the University of Michigan and the University of Illinois at Chicago.
